Born on
January 1997 under the name “Nemesis”, the band starts immediately to
create hisown music, taking inspiration from the beloved bands, from the
nature and the legends of the northlands and from the atmosphere of
mistery that sorrounds these countries.
This amount of forces finds his dimension in a black-doom symphonic
metal with the presence of screaming voices, female back vocals, violins
and epic memories.

The line up is formed by Beppe (vocals/guitar), Michele (guitar), Alessio (guitar), Roberto (bass), Giovanni (keyboards), Samuel (drums).
On March of the same year the band records his first demo “Promo ‘97” that contains the songs “Ethereal screams”, “The seventh eclipse” and “My blood”.
Criticism were unanimous and positives and the label Music For Nations represented by Michael Morris offers them a contract to the band, but at the moment to sign it the boss of the label didn’t want to risk with an italian band and so the agreement vanished.
Meanwhile the band starts playing live in many different places and a few later the label Northern Darkness Records put Nemesis under contract.
The band go to studios and on July 1999 turns its name in “Nemesis Inferi” and at the same time releases the cd “Sins of Eden”.
The cd is very well received, over all in the underground of extreme metal and gothic music and this allows the band to play many concerts, some of them with famous names like Moonspell, Anathema, Death SS, Novembre, Handful Of Hate, Mater Tenebra, Death Dies, Stormlord.
Unfortunately the Northern Darkness Records closes for financial matters and leaves Nemesis Inferi without a contract.
Later the label Warlock Records from Milan proposes to the band to participate at the tribute-album of Buldozer. The band accepts and incises the cover of the song “Willful Death”.
After years the band is tired and demoralized and on January 2004 decides to take a break.
Two years later Beppe finds again the right spirit and the motivation to come back, but the other members leave definitively the project.
But Beppe, in quality of principal founder and composer of Nemesis Inferi, goes straight on his way, holds on and finds the ideal members, Pier (keyboards) and “Il Salvi” (drums) and gives a new life to Nemesis Inferi.
In september 2007 the band records the promo disc "Reborn of Fire", containing the first 4 tracks of the new line-up. The promo is very well received by the critics, and after a few gigs, the band decides to return to recording studios and finally, after 2 years, "Another Kind of Evil" sees the light, with "Riccardo" at the bass guitar, officially into the new formation in September 2008.
Nemesis Inferi's name is widespreaded by this new album, and the guys earn a concert as openers to the famous "Bulldozer" band, in occasion of their reunion at Milan's "Magazzini Generali" in December 2009.
After the numerous gigs, they take part also to the "Viadana Open Air", supporting bands like "Blood Red Throne", gaining more fans concert by concert.
The band is finally contacted by Fuel Records / Self, that in November 2010 officially publish their Another Kind of Evil record, remastered for the occasion at the Massive Arts Studios.
The CD receives good reviews and they do a couple of shows also with their label-mates, "Dark Lunacy".
In February 2011, "Il Salvi" decides to leave the band, but he'll be promptly replaced by Luca "Panzer Division". Later on, also Riccardo decides to leave the Nemesis Inferi's cause for personal
issues.

Nemesis Inferi now are working on new tracks for the next album, that will be out in 2012.
